Description
Alcohol Gel Hand Rub
For use after routine hand washing or whenever soap and water are not readily available. Rapidly evaporates from hands and kills bacteria without leaving residue or odour.
Alcohol gel hand rub is the preferred method for hand hygiene in healthcare unless the hands are visibly soiled.
To use hand gel properly you must use enough gel to cover all surfaces of the hand and keep rubbing together until dry it usually takes about 15 seconds.
Just remember if your hands are visibly soiled soap and water is the best option. Hand rub has no residual activity so regrowth begins slowly after use which is why you need to sanitize regularly.
